Project Overview
Alford House Gym is a recurring youth work programme designed to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where young people can build confidence, improve their fitness, and develop positive habits that support their wider wellbeing. The project combines structured gym activity with informal youth work practice, helping participants to feel welcomed, respected, and encouraged at every session.

What We Do
Each session offers young people the opportunity to use gym equipment safely, learn proper technique, and take part in activities that suit a range of abilities and fitness levels. Staff support participants to set personal goals, build discipline, and understand the value of consistent effort, while also promoting teamwork, mutual respect, and healthy routines.

How It Supports Young People
